This was on the side of the road. We examined it and decided that the wolves got an elk. Everything was eaten except a back leg and some bright red blood on the inside of the pelt. We didn't see a wolf close enough to take a picture, but thought we saw one eating through binoculars. The ears are rounder than a coyote's, and the wolf's body is much larger. Lots of people spend days looking for wolves through large telescopes.
