11. Peter⁴ Acker Jr. (Peter³, Casper², Jacob?¹) was born in Hempfield Twp, Lancaster Co, Pennsylvania on September 22, 1755.⁽⁷⁸⁾ The birth year is also given as 1753 by Swank. Peter died on March 30, 1832 in Edom, Rockingham Co, VA, at age 76.⁽⁷⁹⁾ His body was interred in the Brenneman Cemetery after March 30, 1832 in Edom, Rockingham Co, VA.⁽⁸⁰⁾ His gravestone reads: "IN MEMORY of PETER OCKER who was born September 22, 1755 and departed this life March 30, 1832 Aged 76 years 6 months and 8 days"

He married Anna Maria Driver about 1792.⁽⁸¹⁾ Anna was born on December 3, 1764 in Conderans Twp, York County, Pennsylvania.⁽⁸²⁾ Anna was the daughter of Ludwick Treiber and Anna Barbara Sprenkle. Anna died in November 1849 in Edom, Rockingham Co, VA, at age 84.⁽⁸³⁾ Her body was interred in the Brenneman Cemetery in November 1849 in Edom, Rockingham Co, VA.⁽⁸⁴⁾ When Anna was age 28 and Peter Acker Jr. was age 37 they became the parents of Elizabeth Sarah Ocker on February 25, 1793 in VA.⁽⁸⁵⁾ When Anna was age 35 and Peter Acker Jr. was age 44 they became the parents of Ann Ocker on July 3, 1800 in Rockingham County, VA.⁽⁸⁶⁾ When Anna was age 38 and Peter Acker Jr. was age 48 they became the parents of Mary Acker on November 10, 1803 in Rockingham County, VA.⁽⁸⁷⁾ When Anna was age 44 and Peter Acker Jr. was age 53 they became the parents of Peter Acker II on December 13, 1808.⁽⁸⁸⁾

When Peter was age 37 and Anna Maria Driver was age 28 they became the parents of Elizabeth Sarah Ocker on February 25, 1793 in VA.⁽⁸⁹⁾ When Peter was age 44 and Anna Maria Driver was age 35 they became the parents of Ann Ocker on July 3, 1800 in Rockingham County, VA.⁽⁹⁰⁾ When Peter was age 48 and Anna Maria Driver was age 38 they became the parents of Mary Acker on November 10, 1803 in Rockingham County, VA.⁽⁹¹⁾ When Peter was age 53 and Anna Maria Driver was age 44 they became the parents of Peter Acker II on December 13, 1808.⁽⁹²⁾ He was mentioned in Anthony Acker's will about March 30, 1839 in Fairfield Co, OH.⁽⁹³⁾ The following individuals are also linked to this event: John Coffman (administrator); Elizabeth Sarah Ocker (other). Peter changed the spelling of the family name to Ocker when his daughter Elizabeth was 6 years of age. Jacobs has this Peter coming from Europe on the ship Sally in 1776. If Peter is a son of Peter who was living in PA well before that time, it is not likely that this Peter was on the ship Sally.

Peter Acker Jr. and Anna Maria Driver had the following children:

26 ii. Ann Ocker⁽⁹⁴⁾ was born in Rockingham County, VA on July 3, 1800.⁽⁹⁵⁾ Ann died on June 10, 1809 in Rockingham County, VA, at age 8.⁽⁹⁶⁾ Her body was interred Rhodes Family Cemetery after June 10, 1809 in Broadway, Rockingham Co, VA.⁽⁹⁷⁾

+ 27 iii. Mary Acker was born on November 10, 1803.

+ 28 iv. Peter Acker II was born on December 13, 1808.
