Jacob⁴ Acker (Peter³, Casper², Jacob?¹) was born in Hempfield Twp, Lancaster Co, Pennsylvania on May 27, 1756.⁽⁹⁸⁾ Jacob died on April 12, 1813 in Northumberland County, Pennsylvania, at age 56.⁽⁹⁹⁾ The date on the gravestone is April, while Slabaugh gives the date as March. His body was interred after April 12, 1813 in Northumberland County, Pennsylvania. This cemetery is currently in Snyder County, PA. The gravestone reads: "Jacob Acker, 27 May 1756 - 12 Apr 1813.

He married Anna Graybill est 1782. Anna was born est 1756-1760 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.⁽¹⁰⁰⁾ Anna was the daughter of John Graybill and Barbara Darradinger. Her body was interred in the Graybill Cemetery after April 12, 1813 in Northumberland County, Pennsylvania.⁽¹⁰¹⁾ The cemetery is now located in Snyder County, PA. The gravestone reads: "Ann Graybill, his wife 25 May 1784 - ". There is no death date given and no record of an actual burial has been found to date.

When Anna was age 28 and Jacob Acker was age 28 they became the parents of Anna Acker on March 7, 1785.⁽¹⁰²⁾ When Anna was age 30 and Jacob Acker was age 30 they became the parents of Henry Acker on December 17, 1786.⁽¹⁰³⁾ When Anna was age 40 and Jacob Acker was age 40 they became the parents of Barbara Acker on August 2, 1796.⁽¹⁰⁴⁾ When Anna was age 41 and Jacob Acker was age 41 they became the parents of Peter Acker on May 6, 1798.⁽¹⁰⁵⁾ When Anna was age 45 and Jacob Acker was age 45 they became the parents of Christian Acker in 1801.⁽¹⁰⁶⁾ When Anna was age 48 and Jacob Acker was age 48 they became the parents of Emanuel Acker on April 14, 1805.⁽¹⁰⁷⁾ When Anna was age unknown and Jacob Acker was age unknown they became the parents of Abraham Acker est 1806. When Anna was age 51 and Jacob Acker was age 51 they became the parents of Jacob Acker Jr. in 1807.⁽¹⁰⁸⁾ When Anna was age unknown and Jacob Acker was age unknown they became the parents of Elizabeth Acker est 1809.

Jacob Acker and Anna Graybill had the following children:

+ 33 v. Christian Acker was born in 1801.

+ 34 vi. Emanuel Acker was born on April 14, 1805.

35 vii. Abraham Acker was born est 1806. Abraham died on September 19, 1897 at age 91.⁽¹¹⁸⁾ His body was interred after September 19, 1897 in Hollidaysburg, Blair Co, PA.⁽¹¹⁹⁾ He married Sarah Ann Leggington est 1831. Sarah was born est 1810.

+ 36 viii. Jacob Acker Jr. was born in 1807.

37 ix. Elizabeth Acker was born est 1809.
