80. William Pollock⁶ Acker (Peter⁵, Peter⁴, Peter³, Casper², Jacob?¹) was born in 1827.⁽¹⁰⁷³⁾ William died in February 1870 in Texas, at age 42.⁽¹⁰⁷⁴⁾

He married Sallie Pinkerton in 1856.⁽¹⁰⁷⁵⁾ Sallie was born on December 31, 1825.⁽¹⁰⁷⁶⁾ Sallie died on January 15, 1910 in Texas, at age 84.⁽¹⁰⁷⁷⁾ When Sallie was age 31 and William Pollock Acker was age 30 they became the parents of Charles Travis Acker in 1857.⁽¹⁰⁷⁸⁾ When Sallie was age 34 and William Pollock Acker was age 32 they became the parents of William Prisley Acker on January 1860.⁽¹⁰⁷⁹⁾ When Sallie was age 35 and William Pollock Acker was age 34 they became the parents of Henry Wise Acker on July 21, 1861.⁽¹⁰⁸⁰⁾ When Sallie was age 35 and William Pollock Acker was age 34 they became the parents of Jefferson Acker on July 21, 1861. When Sallie was age 42 and William Pollock Acker was age 40 they became the parents of Issac Franklin Acker on January 30, 1868.⁽¹⁰⁸¹⁾ When Sallie was age 42 and William Pollock Acker was age 40 they became the parents of Frances Ella Acker on January 31, 1868.⁽¹⁰⁸²⁾ Her name upon marriage to Pete Acker II was Mrs. Sallie Pinkerton Chitwood. An assumption was made as to the maiden name and to the married name. These need to be verified by further research.

When William was age 30 and Sallie Pinkerton was age 31 they became the parents of Charles Travis Acker in 1857.⁽¹⁰⁸³⁾ When William was age 32 and Sallie Pinkerton was age 34 they became the parents of William Prisley Acker on January 1860.⁽¹⁰⁸⁴⁾ When William was age 34 and Sallie Pinkerton was age 35 they became the parents of Henry Wise Acker on July 21, 1861.⁽¹⁰⁸⁵⁾ When William was age 34 and Sallie Pinkerton was age 35 they became the parents of Jefferson Acker on July 21, 1861. When William was age 40 and Sallie Pinkerton was age 42 they became the parents of Issac Franklin Acker on January 30, 1868.⁽¹⁰⁸⁶⁾ When William was age 40 and Sallie Pinkerton was age 42 they became the parents of Frances Ella Acker on January 31, 1868.⁽¹⁰⁸⁷⁾

William Pollock Acker and Sallie Pinkerton had the following children:
