206. Henry Acker⁶ Lauver (Catherine⁵ Acker, Casper⁴, Peter³, Casper², Jacob?¹) was born in Evendale, Juniata County, Pennsylvania on July 1, 1840.⁽²³³⁷⁾ Henry died on July 12, 1893 at age 53.⁽²³³⁸⁾

He married twice. He married Barbara Elizabeth Gingrich in 1866. Barbara was born on May 18, 1847.⁽²³³⁹⁾ Barbara died on January 27, 1870 at age 22.⁽²³⁴⁰⁾ When Barbara was age 20 and Henry Acker Lauver was age 27 they became the parents of Elizabeth G. Lauver on August 3, 1867.⁽²³⁴¹⁾ When Barbara was age 22 and Henry Acker Lauver was age 29 they became the parents of Ella G. Lauver on September 11, 1869.⁽²³⁴²⁾ Melvin Lauver has Elizabeth GINGRICH as the wife of Henry A. Lauver; John Slabaugh has Barbara Gingrich as wife of Henry. Slabaugh's work tends to be more accurate.

He married Catharine Hostetter Oberholtzer in 1871.⁽²³⁴³⁾ Catharine was born on January 22, 1851.⁽²³⁴⁴⁾ Catharine died on August 31, 1915 at age 64.⁽²³⁴⁵⁾ Jacobs has death date as August 21, 1915.

When Catharine was age 22 and Henry Acker Lauver was age 32 they became the parents of Mary O. Lauver on March 28, 1873.⁽²³⁴⁶⁾ When Catharine was age 23 and Henry Acker Lauver was age 34 they became the parents of Jacob O. Lauver on October 13, 1874.⁽²³⁴⁷⁾ When Catharine was age 27 and Henry Acker Lauver was age 37 they became the parents of John O. Lauver on January 28, 1878.⁽²³⁴⁸⁾ When Catharine was age 29 and Henry Acker Lauver was age 40 they became the parents of Katharine O. Lauver on July 13, 1880.⁽²³⁴⁹⁾ When Catharine was age 32 and Henry Acker Lauver was age 42 they became the parents of Henry O. Lauver on February 24, 1883 in Snyder County, Pennsylvania.⁽²³⁵⁰⁾ When Catharine was age 34 and Henry Acker Lauver was age 45 they became the parents of Foster O. Lauver on October 24, 1885.⁽²³⁵¹⁾ When Catharine was age 37 and Henry Acker Lauver was age 47 they became the parents of Milton Lauver on March 6, 1888.⁽²³⁵²⁾ When Catharine was age 37 and Henry Acker Lauver was age 48 they became the parents of Samuel O. Lauver on January 18, 1889.⁽²³⁵³⁾ When Catharine was age 42 and Henry Acker Lauver was age 53 they became the parents of William O. Lauver on October 27, 1893.⁽²³⁵⁴⁾

When Henry was age 27 and Barbara Elizabeth Gingrich was age 20 they became the parents of Elizabeth G. Lauver on August 3, 1867.⁽²³⁵⁵⁾ When Henry was age 29 and Barbara Elizabeth Gingrich was age 22 they became the parents of Ella G. Lauver on September 11, 1869.⁽²³⁵⁶⁾ When Henry was age 32 and Catharine Hostetter Oberholtzer was age 22 they became the parents of Mary O. Lauver on March 28, 1873.⁽²³⁵⁷⁾ When Henry was age 34 and Catharine Hostetter Oberholtzer was age 23 they became the parents of Jacob O. Lauver on October 13, 1874.⁽²³⁵⁸⁾ When Henry was age 37 and Catharine Hostetter Oberholtzer was age 27 they became the parents of John O. Lauver on January 28, 1878.⁽²³⁵⁹⁾ When Henry was age 40 and Catharine Hostetter Oberholtzer was age 29 they became the parents of Katharine O. Lauver on July 13, 1880.⁽²³⁶⁰⁾ When Henry was age 42 and Catharine Hostetter Oberholtzer was age 32 they became the parents of Henry O. Lauver on February 24, 1883 in Snyder County, Pennsylvania.⁽²³⁶¹⁾ When Henry was age 45 and Catharine Hostetter Oberholtzer was age 34 they became the parents of Foster O. Lauver on October 24, 1885.⁽²³⁶²⁾ When Henry was age 47 and Catharine Hostetter Oberholtzer was age 37 they became the parents of Milton Lauver on March 6, 1888.⁽²³⁶³⁾ When Henry was age 48 and Catharine Hostetter Oberholtzer was age 37 they became the parents of Samuel O. Lauver on January 18, 1889.⁽²³⁶⁴⁾ When Henry was age 53 and Catharine Hostetter Oberholtzer was age 42 they became the parents of William O. Lauver on October 27, 1893.⁽²³⁶⁵⁾

Henry Acker Lauver and Barbara Elizabeth Gingrich had the following children:

Henry Acker Lauver and Catharine Hostetter Oberholtzer had the following children:

599 iii. Mary O. Lauver was born on March 28, 1873.⁽²³⁶⁸⁾ Mary died in 1946 at age 73.⁽²³⁶⁹⁾ She resides in Selinsgrove, Snyder County, Pennsylvania before 1946.⁽²³⁷⁰⁾ Remained single, according to Melvin Lauver.

600 iv. Jacob O. Lauver was born on October 13, 1874.⁽²³⁷¹⁾ Jacob died on April 11, 1962 at age 87.⁽²³⁷²⁾ His body was interred Grubbs Lutheran Church Cemetery in April 1962 in Mt. Pleasant Mills, Snyder County, Pennsylvania.⁽²³⁷³⁾

601 v. John O. Lauver was born on January 28, 1878.⁽²³⁷⁴⁾ John died in 1936 at age 58.⁽²³⁷⁵⁾ His body was interred Grubbs Lutheran Church Cemetery, in 1936 in Mt. Pleasant Mills, Snyder County, Pennsylvania.⁽²³⁷⁶⁾ Remained single, according to Melvin Lauver. Melvin does note that John "Helped Katie Swarts in bereavement."

602 vi. Katharine O. Lauver was born on July 13, 1880.⁽²³⁷⁷⁾ Katharine died on February 18, 1932 at age 51.⁽²³⁷⁸⁾

603 vii. Henry O. Lauver was born in Snyder County, Pennsylvania on February 24, 1883.⁽²³⁷⁹⁾ Henry died on March 30, 1968 at age 85.⁽²³⁸⁰⁾ His body was interred in April 1968 in Groffdale Mennonite Cemetery, New Holland, Lancaster Co, Pa.⁽²³⁸¹⁾ In the manuscript of Melvin Lauver, he wrote: "Henry was born in Snyder County but came to Lancaster County to find farm work. Younger brothers were at home who could take care of the farm for their mother. In Lancaster County Henry found both work and a mate."

604 viii. Foster O. Lauver was born on October 24, 1885.⁽²³⁸²⁾ Foster died on April 24, 1958 at age 72.⁽²³⁸³⁾

605 ix. Milton Lauver was born on March 6, 1888.⁽²³⁸⁴⁾ Milton died on December 6, 1959 at age 71.⁽²³⁸⁵⁾

606 x. Samuel O. Lauver was born on January 18, 1889.⁽²³⁸⁶⁾ Samuel died in 1918 in Europe, at age 29.⁽²³⁸⁷⁾ Remained single and died as a casualty of World War I, according to the manuscript of Melvin Lauver.

607 xi. William O. Lauver was born on October 27, 1893.⁽²³⁸⁸⁾ William died on January 17, 1964 at age 70.⁽²³⁸⁹⁾
