Cletus Loren¹⁰ Garrett (Effie Bernice⁹ Rinker, Marion O.⁸, Mary Ann⁷ Clevenger, Mary M.⁶ Acker, Anthony⁵, Casper⁴, Peter³, Casper², Jacob?¹) was born on February 14, 1915.⁽⁴⁴⁹¹⁾ Cletus died on November 8, 1982 in FL, at age 67.⁽⁴⁴⁹²⁾ He had just reposssed a semi tractor and it had broken down on the interstate. He was attempting to determine the problem when he was hit by a hit and run driver who was never found.

He married twice. He married Sue Turner on September 10, 1935.⁽⁴⁴⁹³⁾ Swank gaave the marriage date as September 16, 1935.

Sue was born in 1918.⁽⁴⁴⁹⁴⁾ When Sue was age 18 and Cletus Loren Garrett was age 21 they became the parents of William Joseph Garrett on July 7, 1936.⁽⁴⁴⁹⁵⁾ When Sue was age 20 and Cletus Loren Garrett was age 23 they became the parents of Carolyn S. Garrett on July 14, 1938.⁽⁴⁴⁹⁶⁾ When Sue was age 21 and Cletus Loren Garrett was age 24 they became the parents of Robert L. Garrett on August 20, 1939.⁽⁴⁴⁹⁷⁾ Sue was divorced from Cletus Loren Garrett in July 1944.⁽⁴⁴⁹⁸⁾ He married Dorothy Maxine Holstead on May 12, 1945.⁽⁴⁴⁹⁹⁾ Maxine was born on September 5, 1924.⁽⁴⁵⁰⁰⁾ Maxine, as Cletus Loren Garrett's wife, resided with him in Oakville, Delaware Co, IN after May 12, 1945.⁽⁴⁵⁰¹⁾ When Maxine was age 22 and Cletus Loren Garrett was age 31 they became the parents of Joanne Garrett on December 29, 1946.⁽⁴⁵⁰²⁾ When Maxine was age 27 and Cletus Loren Garrett was age 37 they became the parents of John L. Garrett on March 10, 1952.⁽⁴⁵⁰³⁾ She resided in Oakville, Delaware Co, IN in 2001.⁽⁴⁵⁰⁴⁾
