764. Samuel⁸ Shirk (Catherine⁷ Auker, John Lauver⁶ Acker, Henry⁵, Jacob⁴, Peter³, Casper², Jacob?¹) was born September 19, 1870. Samuel died September 15, 1949 at age 78.

He married Emma Shotsberger January 31, 1895. Emma was born September 9, 1875. Emma died May 7, 1940 at age 64. When Emma was age 24 and Samuel Shirk was age 29 they became the parents of Sterl Shirk July 6, 1900. When Emma was age 28 and Samuel Shirk was age 33 they became the parents of Merion S. Shirk December 23, 1903. When Emma was age 32 and Samuel Shirk was age 37 they became the parents of Merrill William Shirk September 6, 1908. When Emma was age 35 and Samuel Shirk was age 40 they became the parents of Harry C. Shirk July 25, 1911.

When Samuel was age 29 and Emma Shotsberger was age 24 they became the parents of Sterl Shirk July 6, 1900. When Samuel was age 33 and Emma Shotsberger was age 28 they became the parents of Merion S. Shirk December 23, 1903. When Samuel was age 37 and Emma Shotsberger was age 32 they became the parents of Merrill William Shirk September 6, 1908. When Samuel was age 40 and Emma Shotsberger was age 35 they became the parents of Harry C. Shirk July 25, 1911.

Samuel Shirk and Emma Shotsberger had the following children:

+ 1577 i. Sterl⁹ Shirk (still alive).

+ 1578 ii. Merion S. Shirk was born December 23, 1903.

+ 1579 iii. Merrill William Shirk was born September 6, 1908.

+ 1580 iv. Harry C. Shirk (still alive).
