Sarah was born on January 18, 1846 in KY.⁽⁷⁵⁾ Sarah died on June 7, 1895 in Howard County, IN, at age 49.⁽⁷⁶⁾ Her body was interred in the Albright Cemetery Section 3 after June 7, 1895 in Taylor Township, Howard County, IN.⁽⁷⁷⁾ He married Iva Malotte on March 14, 1899 in Howard County, IN.⁽⁷⁸⁾ (Iva Malotte is #5737.) Iva was born est 1844.

Joshua was listed as the head of a family on the 1880 Census in Prairie Township, Tipton County, IN.⁽⁷⁹⁾

Joshua W. Berry Jr. and Sarah Catherine Yantes had the following children:

Luemma³ Berry (#5743) was born in Tipton County, IN on September 8, 1877.⁽⁸⁰⁾ Her birthdate is calculated from her death date of June 28, 1878⁽⁸¹⁾ and an age at death of 9M & 20D" Luemma died on June 28, 1878 in Tipton County, IN, at age unknown.⁽⁸²⁾ Her body was interred in the Randolph Cemetery after June 28, 1878 in Taylor Township, Howard County, IN.⁽⁸³⁾ The gravestone reads: "Luemma; daut. of J. W. & S. C. Berry; died June 28, 1878; aged 9M & 20D"
