Mable Jane⁴ Jones (Viola³ Fair, Martha Jane² McElwee, Charles¹) (#4011) was born in Prairie Township, Tipton County, IN on February 22, 1900.⁽⁴²⁴⁾ Mable died on February 25, 1927 in Fort Wayne, Allen County, IN, at age 27.⁽⁴²⁵⁾ Her body was interred North Union Cemetery on January 28, 1927 in Howard County, IN.⁽⁴²⁶⁾

She married Orman Benjamin Merrell on April 19, 1919 in Howard County, IN.⁽⁴²⁷⁾ (Orman Benjamin Merrell is #4013.) Orman was born on July 12, 1897 in Howard County, IN.⁽⁴²⁸⁾ Orman⁽⁴²⁹⁾ was the son of Robert W. Merrell and Martha Jane Malaby. Orman died in October 1954 in Howard County, IN, at age 57.⁽⁴³⁰⁾ He died of third degree burns he received when a basement heater in his home on Kappa Rd exploded.

Orman worked as a farmer in Kokomo, Howard County, IN on April 19, 1919.⁽⁴³¹⁾ Orman was listed as the head of a family on the 1920 Census in Howard County, IN.⁽⁴³²⁾ He resided in Ervin Twp, Howard Co, IN on March 13, 1937.⁽⁴³³⁾

Mable was listed as a daughter in Benjamin Henry Jones's household on the 1910 Census in Harrison Township, Howard County, IN.⁽⁴³⁴⁾ She resided in Kokomo, Howard County, IN on June 13, 1923.⁽⁴³⁵⁾ Her funeral was held on January 28, 1927 in Howard County, IN.⁽⁴³⁶⁾

Mable Jane Jones and Orman Benjamin Merrell had the following children:
