Leonard Tobe⁴ Smith (Louisa³ Small, Jesse², George¹) was born in Jackson Township, Hamilton County, IN on January 19, 1872.⁽⁴²¹⁷⁾ He was born on the Smith homestead one mile east of the Midway on Federal Road 31. Leonard died on March 21, 1937 in Atlanta, Hamilton County, IN, at age 65.⁽⁴²¹⁸⁾ His body was interred in the East Union Cemetery Section 3, Row 6, Lot 5 on March 24, 1937 in East Union, Hamilton Co, IN.⁽⁴²¹⁹⁾ The following individual is also linked to this event: GNU Kendall (minister).
