She married twice. She married Howard Cole on August 3, 1940.⁽⁶⁷³⁴⁾ Howard was born in 1916. Howard was the son of GNU Cole. Howard died on October 2, 1963 in Tipton County, IN, at age 47.⁽⁶⁷³⁵⁾ Baker gives a death year of 1966.

His body was interred New Lancaster Cemetery Section 3, Row 6, Lot 10 on October 5, 1963 in Madison Twp, Tipton Co, IN.⁽⁶⁷³⁶⁾ The gravestone reads: "Howard E. Cole, 1916-1963."

When Howard was age 25 and Elsie Mae Sturdevant was age 20 they became the parents of Patricia Ellen Cole on September 25, 1941.⁽⁶⁷³⁷⁾ When Howard was age 27 and Elsie Mae Sturdevant was age 22 they became the parents of Jacqueline Lee Cole on July 5, 1943.⁽⁶⁷³⁸⁾ When Howard was age 28 and Elsie Mae Sturdevant was age 24 they became the parents of Robert Wayne Cole on March 21, 1945.⁽⁶⁷³⁹⁾ When Howard was age 31 and Elsie Mae Sturdevant was age 26 they became the parents of Linda Jean Cole on July 31, 1947.⁽⁶⁷⁴⁰⁾ When Howard was age 35 and Elsie Mae Sturdevant was age 30 they became the parents of Jimmie Dean Cole on August 25, 1951.⁽⁶⁷⁴¹⁾ When Howard was age 37 and Elsie Mae Sturdevant was age 32 they became the parents of Michael Howard Cole on November 9, 1953.⁽⁶⁷⁴²⁾ When Howard was age 39 and Elsie Mae Sturdevant was age 34 they became the parents of Carol Joy Cole on December 25, 1955.⁽⁶⁷⁴³⁾ When Howard was age 39 and Elsie Mae Sturdevant was age 34 they became the parents of Holly Anne Cole on December 25, 1955.⁽⁶⁷⁴⁴⁾ When Howard was age 45 and Elsie Mae Sturdevant was age 40 they became the parents of Brenda Janelle Cole in January 1962.⁽⁶⁷⁴⁵⁾ She married Orville Ray Draheim est 1964. Orville was born est 1916. Orville died about 1967 at age unknown.⁽⁶⁷⁴⁶⁾ When Orville was age 49 and Elsie Mae Sturdevant was age 44 they became the parents of Steven Lee Draheim on September 20, 1965.⁽⁶⁷⁴⁷⁾
