He married Jane Alice Baldwin est 1941 in Tipton County, IN.⁽⁶⁴³⁹⁾ Jane was born in 1917 in Tipton County, IN.⁽⁶⁴⁴⁰⁾ Her body was interred in the Fairiew Cemetery Section D, Row 5A, Lot 1 after 1999 in Tipton, Tipton County, IN.⁽⁶⁴⁴¹⁾ When Jane was age 18 and Charles Noble Askren was age 18 they became the parents of Kay Marlene Askren on January 30, 1936 in Tipton County, IN.⁽⁶⁴⁴²⁾ She resides in Arizona in 1999.

Charles was listed as a son in Charles Leroy Askren's household on the 1920 Census in Tipton, Tipton County, IN.⁽⁶⁴⁴³⁾ The following individuals are also linked to this event: Cressie Glen (enumerator); William Rittenhouse (neighbor); Oscar Vanness (neighbor); George Murray Askren (son); Mary Marie Small (wife).
